Ecommerce Assistant/Executive/Whizz!

Reports to: Business Owner
Based: Ampthill, Bedfordshire

We are looking to recruit an experienced Ecommerce Assistant/Executive/Whizz who will work in supporting the day-to-day running of the newly launched No.14 website. This is a newly created role with a main focus to grow our online business, which will require excellent interpersonal skills and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude.
This is a brilliant opportunity to develop skills in Ecommerce and Marketing, working as part of a busy and friendly team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Uploading new products and ensuring all assets are ready to launch including copy, prices, images
  • Refreshing the website in line with new season launches, offers and updates
  • Creating framework for seasonal newsletters, emails and offers via Mailchimp
  • Contributing ideas for marketing and content strategy
  • Daily management of all customer services enquiries via email, phone and social media
  • Picking and packing of online orders
  • Managing any issues with orders and customer queries and ensuring they are resolved quickly
  • Tracking of progress via Google Analytics
  • SEO practice to improve website ranking

Sales Assistant

Reports to: Store Manager
Based: Ampthill, Bedfordshire
Contract Type: Permanent

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team.
No previous retail sales experience is necessary, but excellent interpersonal skills, a good team player and a strong ‘can-do’ attitude is a must. Working as part of a busy and friendly team, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Supporting the manager in daily tasks and taking on additional responsibilities in their absence
  • Preparing the shop for business in the morning
  • All payment transactions, whether by cash or card and till reconciliations
  • Creating interesting product displays to reflect current trends and seasons
  • Replenishing stock where necessary, highlighting fast moving lines and advising on any items to be reordered.
  • Managing all deliveries into the shop, ensuring they are quality checked, unpacked, priced, and placed on display, with minimum disruption to the business.
  • The cleanliness and appearance of the premises
