Meet The Team - Charlotte

If you follow us on social media, you'll definitely recognise Charlotte.

Charlotte first joined the No.14 team during her gap year between school and university, and it didn't take long for her infectious energy to become a big part of both the shop and our videos. Safe to say, we couldn't let her go for good!

Now, whenever she's back from university, you'll find Charlotte behind the till, helping customers, and creating plenty of content alongside Maisie.

We caught up with Charlotte to chat about why working at No.14 is her dream job, the brand she always loves to gift, and what she's most looking forward to at the shop over the coming months.

How long have you been part of Team No.14?

I’ve worked at Number Fourteen for nearly 2 years. 

What made you want to join the No.14 team?

When I was younger I used to come in every week and buy pens and postcards. I was also a big fan of the way Jo wrapped cylindrical shapes. I used to watch her wrap and then go home and practice. Essentially, I was a big Number Fourteen nerd!

What's your favourite thing about working at No.14?

My favourite things about working at Number Fourteen is Ebony (the shop dog), Christmas shopping evenings and… Ebony again. 

What's one product you'll always recommend to customers?

I will always recommend our stationery, I love and want all of it. Our notebooks are gorgeous and they make the perfect present. 

What's your favourite brand we stock?

My absolute favourite brand we stock is Elizabeth Scarlett, it is beautiful and always my go to for gifting. 

Which independent business do you love supporting?

I love going to The Social. The drinks are impeccable and the staff are so so lovely. Their cookies are also to die for- 100% recommend. 

What are you most looking forward to at No.14 over the next few months?

The best part about this time of year is Christmas. I know that sounds ridiculous in the middle of summer but we’ll start receiving our Christmas stock soon and I can’t wait! 

When you're not at No.14, what keeps you busy?

I’ve recently been fixated on countries of the world quizzes but normally I just hang out with my friends and plan holidays that won’t happen!
